Berry Family Story
Jim and Debbie Berry
were raised in Downey. When it was time to raise their
own family, they wanted to move to a city with clean
air, and a dog-friendly beach. "That is exactly what we
found in Huntington Beach," said Debbie. The Berrys
moved to Huntington Beach in 1988.
"We like to cruise the
Harbour, walk on the beach,
ride bikes, eat at the
amazing restaurants, and hang out on
Main Street," added
Jim. "There is truly something for everyone here."
Jimmy Berry, 25, and Nikki Berry, 17, give 2 definite
thumbs up to life in Surf City. "I love to surf, and
love the ocean," said Jimmy. "I dance, am in APA, and
think this is the best city anywhere," said Nikki.
The Berry family enjoy
getting out on their boat, and walking their dogs, Duke
and Louis on the beach. "We go to dog beach as a family,
and solo...its's a fabulous place to enjoy the beach
with your best friend-your dog," said Debbie.
Add philanthropic
causes here in town such as the Huntington Harbour
Philharmonic Committee Juniors, and Meals on Wheels, and
it doesn't take long to realize the Berry family makes
the most of life at the beach.
