Calvin Free, Pam Free,
Max Fellows and Casey and Sean McKeon are a blended
family
with a rich history here in the city of Huntington
Beach. Pam moved here in 1965, Calvin
in 1970, and all the kids were born and raised here.
Pam meets thousands of
locals and tourists each week, running the "Art A Faire"
at Pier
Plaza, with partner Toni Groat, every Friday. Calvin is
the beloved butcher and owner of "The Beef Palace", a
true Huntington Beach institution - and genuine family
business, where all the kids help out.
All agree that there is
no better weather anywhere and that the small town
atmosphere can't be beat.
You can often find the
family on their Duffy boat for a Harbour Cruise, at
Captain Jack's or the patio at Mario's. And, everyone in
this die-hard USC household enjoys ice hockey!
Volunteering with the Huntington Harbour Philharmonic
Committee, with theatre productions
at the library and Golden West College, and the 3/1
Marines makes this family happy. All agree
that the wide streets, happy people, sea breezes, and
friendly feel of Huntington Beach is what
makes it the perfect place to live.
"I hope 100 years from
now Huntington Beach still has that small town community
feel," said Pam. " I hope our beautiful beaches are
maintained, and that small businesses
will prosper."
