Huntington Beach, Calif.-- Dogtown USA is the new name for HB, a city that pampers its canines, and has been declared Dog Friendly, USA!

Some think the city has gone to the dogs, while others believe that this is the way a city should be run. Dog friendly restaurants include Park Bench Cafe in Central Park where you can host a dog birthday party, and sit outdoors with your pet, dining on burgers, breakfast burritos, and other delights. There's even a doggie menu! About HB dogs--You can't bring them into restaurants  unless they are certified seeing eye dogs and you hold certification.

Visit Dog Beach on Pacific Coast Highway between Golden West Street and Seapoint Street. Metered parking is available, and the beach is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
