Cool Summer Nights are COOL! As mugginess in the air and hint of warmer days is pushed away by Huntington Beach's afternoon, ocean breeze (blows in between 2 and 4 p.m.,) 'those who are looking for evening activities outdoors can still grab the 2nd to last 'remaining Shipley Nature Center Thursday evening, "Cool Summer Nights" event. Tonight the special, extended hours event in Central Park West includes the topic, Surfrider Ocean Friendly Gardens. Next week the final evening event on August 29, 2013 is all about succulents. 'If you have never visited Shipley Nature Center, it is open daily except Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and available for special events and tours by appointment.
