Sunset Beach Chili Cookoff is Hot Weekend Pick

It's an annual tradition in Sunset Beach, Calif. where some fierce, hot competition pits Mother's Bar, J.King Neptune's, Nadine's Irish Mist and other teams against each other for the best chili on the Sunset "strip". You be the judge. $5 donation gets you in the door to sample, vote and listen to bands and emcee Robby Armstrong, an award winning musician (and Cameron Diaz's brother in law). Chili Cookoff is held on September 14, 2013, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Sunset Beach Community Center. '
