Pelican Isle, formerly J.D. Landing in Peter's Landing, Huntington Harbour, has bay harbor views, indoor and outdoor dining and an extensive menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections.

For breakfast choose from omelets a delicious Stuffed Croissant, pancakes, French Toast, waffles, Eggs Benedict, New England Crab Crakes, scrambled eggs and a variety of Mexican style egg dishes.  Also enjoy muffins, oatmeal and traditional breakfast items. Prices are quite affordable.

Lunch faire is mostly burgers and sandwich favorites such as the Reuben, Monte Cristo, Tuna Melt, Triple Decker, Roast Beef, Hot Meatball Sub, Philly Steak Hoagie, Double Hot Pastrami, Bayou Chicken, Ahi Burger, Eggplant Sandwich, Veggie Sandwich and the delicious half-pound hamburger with add-on extras.

For dinner you will see the colors of the water and sky change from blue to yellow, red and gold as sun drops down over the Pacific Ocean across the street at Sunset Beach. Sip a delicious cocktail or beer and munch on appetizers that range from shrimp, crab cakes, clams, oysters on a half shell and calamari to chicken wings, saut'd mushrooms, potato skins, fried artichokes, homemade onion rings and over a dozen more tasty delights.

Salad entrees are extensive with Grilled Cobb, Chicken Cobb, Caesar Salad, Cold Seafood Salad, Chopped Mediterranean, Grilled Shrimp Cobb and many more choices. Traditional dinner menu items include Open Face 10 Ounce Rib Eye Steak Sandwich, Hot Roast Beef or Turkey with Gravy, Hot Meatloaf, Chick and Biscuits, Tostada Salad, Hawaiian Style Chicken or Fish and Asian Combo Stir Fry.

Dinner entrees include traditional fish, steak, chicken and ribs all served with your choice of hot pasta, baked potato, rice pilaf, steamed white rice, mash potatoes, french fries or onion rings. On this menu are Charbroiled Halibut, Maryland Crabcakes, Captain's Platter with batter-fried fish, shrimp and calamari, select Angus, Prime Rib, T-Bone, Top Sirloin, Pot Roast or Steak Diane.

Italian favorites include Shrimp Scampi, Seafood Linguini, Chicken Marsala, Lasagna, Spaghetti and many more served with soup or salad, fresh vegetables and Italian bread.

If you still have room for dessert, there's Carrot Cake, Classic Cheesecake, Peach Cobbler topped with Vanilla Ice Cream, Homemade Bread Pudding, Ice Cream or Old Fashioned Shake made with pure hand dipped ice cream.

The atmosphere at this wood-toned restaurant that features several dining areas with indoor view or outdoor patio water view seating, a pool table, big screen TV and band stage. Live music is featured most weekends.
