Perqs
Night Club is the place in downtown
Huntington Beach where you can enjoy a relaxed, casual atmosphere in the
oldest Rock & Blues House in Orange County. Just
steps from the sand and the Huntington Beach Pier, Perqs is located in one of the oldest buildings in
Huntington Beach. Perqs Nightclub features some of
the hottest bands in Southern California and is home
to the legendary Walter Trout. When Walter isn't
touring, you can usually catch him here at Perqs.
The oldest Downtown
Huntington Beach Main Street Bar includes live
entertainment and a loyal crowd of locals who say
there's always room for some new faces to come join
the fun in one of Surf City's most distinguished
night clubs. Why' Perqs once served as a brothel.
During the early days, Perqs bar - saloon served up
nightly entertainment that included the service of
prostitutes who worked in the second floor space now
used as offices.
Grandfathered in as
perhaps the only club not required to serve food in
Huntington Beach, Perqs is a bar that serves up live
music, bands, jams, sports, cocktails and talk.
People come to Perqs to see friends, let their hair
down and have a good time in an old-school
environment Huntington Beach once enjoyed. On the
walls are reminders of that time with pictures of
various acts that appeared at the Golden Bear.
As well as being one
of Huntington Beach's most popular night-time bars,
Perqs also enjoys window views where you can watch
the crowds walking by on Main Street. During the 4th
of July this is also one of the most fun and
happening places in downtown. Added to the club
views is a new million-dollar view window on the
corner of the building. There are two seats where
you can sit and look out at the Huntington Beach
Pier from there. Oh, what a treat! Recently when
fireworks were launched from the pier on the 4th of
July, this seat was the hottest in the house.
Be sure to
take a look at the
fantastic memorabilia from the famed Golden
Bear on display at Perqs.
Perqs Nightclub is
