One of the most fun things about the 4th of July Parade in Huntington Beach, California is the people who attend the event. For those who own homes along Main Street, parties are a must! While others must stake out their seats on the ground on public curbs, those with homes have the front row seats to watch the annual event in a party atmosphere.

The downtown has a special decorating contest for the parade route homes to participate in optionally, with the winning homes honored for their patriotic themes and unique decor.
