RE: Old Business
'
Connie gave a quick overview of where we are at with
the Light A Light Of Love, 'Taste of Main.' She said we have 12
participating restaurants, however, still waiting for a couple
submit the paper work for the Health Department
'
Bill Cuppy gave a quick overview on the progress of
the Downtown Maintenance Partnership Concept Task Force. He has
researched several maintenance service companies, with a varied cost
from $130,000-$350,000 He is also looking at the cleaning scope of
work that was submitted by the city that is currently being done,
and what may be required in the future.
'
Steve Daniel gave a quick overview of what took place
at city council on November 17th in regard to formulation
of and ad-hoc committee to focus on the environment in the downtown
area in the summer months, holidays and weekend nights. It was
approved to have, 6 BID members, 6 at large, local residence's and a
few council members.

Connie reported we
have two new BID Members the Conference & Visitors Bureau
And the International Surfing
Museum, they are billed Direct as they are not required to
have a business license.

Susie handed out BID
Board orientation packets, for review. The packet included:
BID Board Roster, Board of Directors
Qualifications, Board of Directors Agreement,
Bylaws, and the organizations Job
Descriptions.

Connie reported that
Board Agreements are being signed by the Board members and are
Being submitted.

Lee Love invited the
board to attend the Lions Weekend Boutique & Surf City Splash
'
Moe Kanoudi, suggested
the BID Support the Annual gift giving program benefiting
Orangewood Children's Home. The
Board agreed to allow two containers on Main Street
During Surf City Nights to receive
gifts in. Moe will coordinated and handle pick up.
