While Plum Fest celebrates an annual harvest of a
delicious, sweet fruit that grows well in Huntington
Beach and becomes ripe around August, the event
retains the Old World flavor and charm with costumes
such as dirndl skirts, foods such as German Biers on
tap, and other savory treats you can purchase at the
annual celebration.
Plum Festival sometimes coincides with the dachshund
races and includes a variety of hot meals you can
purchase, tasty brews from Germany (on draft) and
some live entertainment that gets everyone dancing.
