| The American Volleyball Professionals
discovered several years ago that fans prefer being
right on the sand, close and personal to their favorite
athletes as opposed to sitting in bleachers. Free court
side seats kept audiences glued to fast paced action in
games held on the south side of the Huntington Beach
Pier in June.
Since 1993, the American Volleyball
Association (AVA) has provided the platform for players
of all levels to compete and enjoy the sport of outdoor
volleyball. It creates stepping stones for local players
to enter competition which can lead to professional
level in the American Volleyball Professionals (AVP).
AVA sanctions over 2,500 tournaments throughout the
United States and coordinates community involvement and
sponsor opportunities. |
