long
jump,
high
jump,
races,
12"
softball
throw
and
Diaper
Dash.
Youth
15
and
younger
can
sign
up
and
participate
in
activities
scheduled
for
Friday,
March
18
at
Huntington
Beach
High
School.
The
top
four
finishers
from
this
meet
sponsored
by
the
City
of
Huntington
Beach
advance
to
the
Orange
County
Meet.
Participants
are
required
to
compete
in
their
age
divisions,
with
ribbons
awarded
to
1st
through
8th
place.
Certificates
will
be
awarded
for
all
city
records
broken
at
the
city
meet.
Huntington
Beach
Track
&
Field
tee-shirts
will
be
available
for
$6.
While
bare
feet
or
track
shoes
with
cleats,
spikes,
or
metal
protrusions
are
prohibited,
waffle
shoes
are
allowed.
No
relay
races
will
be
offered
this
year.
The
Track
and
Field
Meet
begins
at 4
p.m.,
and
the
cost
for
entering
the
event
is
$6
for
participants
and
$1
for
spectators.
All
participants
must
have
a
waiver
signed
by a
parent
or
guardian
and
are
subject
to
several
restrictions:
Athletes
may
enter
two
events
maximum.
