AREVALOS PARK HUNTINGTON BEACH CALIFORNIA PHOTOS AND INFORMATION

Alevalos Park
Shalom Drive
Huntington Beach, CA

Arevalos Park is located on the back side of private Pegasus School at the base of a dirt hill and fence for Santa Ana River.  It features a greenbelt, play equipment and a dirt trail that stretches to Adams Avenue  overpass to Santa Ana River.

Arevalos Park  is located on the back side of the beautiful Pegasus School adjacent to the Santa Ana River. If you could cross the river (you can't), you'd be on the perimeter of Mesa Verde Golf Club in Costa Mesa. Alevalos is a 3 acre park featuring a large lawn area, playground equipment and a dirt trail at the foot of the embankment and fencing for Santa Ana River.  Another Huntington Beach park abutting the Santa Ana River approximately a mile downstream toward the Pacific Ocean is Le Bard Park.

Parking for Arevalos is somewhat limited during school sessions at this non-denominational kindergarten through 8th grade private school, one of the most attractive private grade schools in Huntington Beach. Very much a neighborhood park, owners walk their dogs and play fetch games, people jog along the dirt path and enjoy the space and rustic feeling the location affords. Arevalos Park is located in a mostly residential neighborhood near major streets Adams, Brookhurst and Yorktown.

Huntington Beach Parks

The City of Huntington Beach (California) is the caretaker and steward of the Huntington Beach public park system. Two departments involved with Huntington Beach parks are the Community Services Department and Park Maintenance. Park Maintenance is responsible for maintaining approximately 67 parks and public facilities, totaling 598 acres, 169 playground apparatus and irrigation systems.

Park Maintenance is also an integral component in special events in the City, closely working with Community Services to set up for events and activities that take place on or near park facilities. Community Services not only handles the rental of the park facilities but also operates programs for the public that include softball leagues, exercise classes, cooking, dancing and other types of interesting and fun things to do. For more information on park maintenance call (714) 536-5480.  For information on park facilities or to make a reservation call Community Services at (714) 536-5486 or the phone numbers provided on the featured parks pages.
