Harbour View Park is located in the hub of action for Huntington Harbour. It sits facing Saybrook Lane, the entryway and thoroughfare to several islands and waterfront residential communities. Just down the road is Huntington Harbour Mall and next to the public park is Harbour View Middle School.

Harbour View Park includes two tennis courts with lighting, a playground set for children with slides and ladders, a grouping of picnic tables on a cement patio underneath tall shade trees and a clubhouse available for rent. Harbour View Club House includes approximately 1800 square feet of  interior space, accommodating 90 people seated at tables or 200 people standing and circulating. The surrounding exterior park space is not available for rent.

In the park, several solid benches have been provided by the Huntington Harbour Garden Club so parents can sit and watch their children play or enjoy a book in the sun or shade.

Huntington Beach Parks

The City of Huntington Beach (California) is the caretaker and steward of the Huntington Beach public park system. Two departments involved with Huntington Beach parks are the Community Services Department and Park Maintenance. Park Maintenance is responsible for maintaining approximately 70 parks and public facilities, totaling 598 acres, 169 playground apparatus and irrigation systems. 

Park Maintenance is also an integral component in special events in the City, closely working with Community Services to set up for events and activities that take place on or near park facilities. Community Services not only handles the rental of the park facilities but also operates programs for the public that include softball leagues, exercise classes, cooking, dancing and other types of interesting and fun things to do.
