Huntington
Beach Farmer's Market and
Art Fair is one of the most
popular activities in
Huntington Beach and offers
one of the nicest outdoor
open air shopping
locations anywhere. Chosen
as one of the most beautiful
weekly outdoor crafts and
food markets along the
California Coast, it is
located near the
intersection of Main Street
and Pacific Coast Highway
overlooking the Pacific Ocean. While the
participants that include
certified California farm
produce sellers are the same
people who travel from one
city another to sell their
wares, the setting in
Huntington Beach is usually
their favorite. Overlooking
the blue Pacific Ocean at
Pier Plaza north of the
Huntington Beach Pier, the
air is usually breezy with
the soft ocean fragrance
locals are accustomed to.
Farmer's
Market is sponsored by the
Orange County Farm Bureau
and includes flowers, fruit,
breads, nuts and specialty
foods are sold fresh to the
consumer. Farmer's Market is
held Friday afternoons from
noon until dusk, admission
is free.
Attendance is free but the
parking next door at the
Pier Plaza parking lot is
not. If you want to park
free, the closest free
parking begins about 2
blocks away. Parking is
currently charged outside
the lot at 25 cents per 10
minutes at meters or $1.50
per hour at Pier Plaza.

chimes to rugs and clothes,
you never know what you'll
find at this event, though
you can be sure you'll see
lots of colorful California
gifts. The Art Fair is also
held some weekends. If you are
something catches your eye
at one of the arts and
crafts fairs along the plaza
promenade, an ATM machine is
located at there.
