The urban forest represents trees and wild life in all urban areas. Urban forest property is not necessarily a strong urban forest. In Huntington Beach, the Urban Forest located in Central Park is atop a hill near the horse stables of the Central Park Equestrian Center. You can access the urban forest which is gated by walking up Edwards Hill next to the dog park and when you reach the top, head slightly to your left where you see the concrete remain of some former structure, usually covered in graffiti these days.

On your right will be the oil fields and jack pumps. The gate to the forest is usually open during daylight hours. Inside are some exceptional plants, shrubs and trees that are seasonally flowering.
