HUNTINGTON BEACH DINING - LONGBOARD Restaurant & Pub
Longboard Restaurant and Pub food plate at outdoor dining table with lobster served with butter, corn and potatoes
Longboard Restaurant & Pub, 217 Main St, Huntington Beach, CA  Call: (714) 960-1896  longboardpub.com

Longboard is the top dining option for those seeking casual atmosphere, hearty meals prepared fresh daily, great cocktails and beer on tap, and a Cheers atmosphere where it doesn't take long for everyone to get to know you and your name. The institution located on the 2nd block of Main Street in Downtown Huntington Beach can be recognized by the water fountain next to the side of the building, and often many, many bicycles parked. There are other landmarks to help you find this place, however. An old brick building in back is part of HB's history, and the longboard stationed on the front of the building above the door are dead give-aways to the namesake--Longboard.

If you love food, Longboard Restaurant and Pub fits the bill for taste and affordability in downtown Huntington Beach. Located in one of Huntington Beach's oldest buildings, Longboard Restaurant and Pub contains the atmosphere and vibes of  the TV series "Cheers". You see many the local faces gathered around for evening cocktails and beer, talking, dining and even watching ball games on one of the televisions inside at the bar.

The local crowd and tourists frequenting this restaurant and pub on the second block of Main Street enjoy its hearty faire and unpretentious atmosphere. Sandwiches, soups, fish platters, beers on tap, mixed drinks and warm and friendly service make this a favorite hangout. With reasonable prices, too, you may return time and again to eat a hot meal or cold sandwich here. Indoor tables, bar service and outdoor tables with umbrellas, plus a back patio make this a perfect choice for downtown Huntington Beach Main Street dining. Catering and parties are available by calling the restaurant: 714-960-1896.

An annual Lobster Fest features a huge lobster. It's a real value compared to upscale restaurants in the region that serve lobster for a lot more. Ron McLin works tirelessly for the community. Not only does he organize an annual Taste of Huntington Beach, he serves on the boards of the Huntington Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau,  Downtown Huntington Beach Business Association and is president of the Huntington Beach Restaurant Association.
