The End Cafe Huntington Beach at Huntington Beach Pier

The End Cafe was the former long-time business of the Gustafson Family that included Alice and John. These "salt of the earth" home-grown Huntington Beach folks ran the beach concession on the Huntington Beach Pier for many years till several storms destroyed the family business there. John Gustafson was a local legend of sorts. He actually was the friendly ambassador to Huntington Beach who rode up and down the pier on a 3-wheel bicycle. John passed away years ago but a tribute to him existed at the new business in Central Park.

Alice Gustafson and her daughter, Mary Beth, operated the Alice's Breakfast in the Park Cafe. It is known throughout the region for the delicious fresh breads baked daily and yummy cinnamon rolls dripping with delicious white icing. Unfortunately, the city did not renew its lease in Fall 2010.
