Classic California described in brochures and on
advertisements for Pismo Beach might aptly describe
Huntington Beach, as well. Local shop owners such as Moe at
Designer Eyewear and Steve Daniel at Rocky Mountain
Chocolate Factory will tell you that you need only "hang
out" for a while to see some "cherry" custom car or antique
piece of art float by on wheels along the Main Street
promenade or street.
Main Street is the heart of Surf City's downtown region and
is the feel good place people like to see and spend time at.
They dine on breakfast, lunch and dinner at the outdoor
street-side tables or stroll and shop at the little
boutiques and surf paraphernalia stores. This picture
of the green car was taken in December. Notice there are no
boots, no hats, no gloves worn on people shown above.
This is what Huntington Beach is like in December. It is
usually warm, sunny and quite happy.
