This Huntington Beach events photo shows a group in line to
enjoy a very special annual event in Huntington Beach, the Cruise of Lights
held in Huntington Harbour. It attracts thousands
of people who come to enjoy the scenic holiday tour of the
waterways of Huntington Beach's channels of five manmade
islands. The hour-long scenic tour includes information from
a guide who describes the houses and information about
Huntington Harbour. Over 40 years in existence, the Cruise
of Lights it the Huntington Beach Philharmonic's major
fundraising effort for school music programs. Usually
on the first night of the tour checks are presented to local
school music teachers.
There are many Huntington Beach events held throughout the
year that include seasonal holiday fun, summer on the go
with extreme sports activities and surfing, and patriotic
holiday celebrations with parades and fireworks. For photos
